ADPSV2 heating cable for snowmelting – 25 W/m

In cold climate areas, it is often necessary to protect installations from snow, ice, and frost.
These needs can be categorized into three types of installations:

• Roofs, gutters, and downpipes.
• Outdoor surfaces: sidewalks, parking ramps, stairs, walkways, loading docks, etc.
• Pipes.

This requirement applies to residential buildings, the tertiary sector (such as restaurants and hotels), and industrial facilities. In all these cases, heating cables have become the preferred solution due to their effectiveness and ease of installation and use.

For defrosting applications, we offer a mechanically robust heating cable (twin-conductor with braided shielding) designed for industrial and outdoor use. Its black outer sheath includes UV protection for reliable outdoor performance.

To meet all needs, the cable is available in a wide range of linear power outputs (from 8 W/m to 33 W/m), and in versions for both 230 V and 380 V connections. For easier installation, this cable is also available in heating mat format.

Typical power levels for standard applications include:

• Cold storage rooms: 8 W/m – 10 to 20 W/m².
• Gutters and downpipes: 17 W/m – 10 to 20 W/m.
• Roofs: 25 to 33 W/m – 250 W/m².
• Open areas: 25 to 33 W/m – 150 to 300 W/m².
