ADPSV2 heating cable for snowmelting – 33 W/m

In cold climate regions, protecting installations from snow, ice, and frost is a common necessity.
These systems generally fall into three application categories:

• Roofs, gutters, and downpipes.
• Outdoor surfaces: sidewalks, parking ramps, stairs, pathways, loading docks, etc.
• Pipes.

This need arises in both residential settings and the tertiary sector (particularly restaurants and hotels), as well as in industrial environments. In all these cases, heating cables have proven to be the most effective and practical solution thanks to their efficiency and ease of installation and use.

For defrosting applications, we offer a highly durable heating cable (twin-conductor with braided shielding) suitable for industrial and outdoor use. Its black outer sheath includes UV protection, making it ideal for exposure to the elements.

To meet a wide range of needs, the cable is available in a broad spectrum of linear power outputs (from 8 W/m to 33 W/m) and for connection to both 230 V and 380 V systems. For easier installation, the same cable is also available in heating mat format.

Typical power ratings for standard applications are:

• Cold storage rooms: 8 W/m – 10 to 20 W/m².
• Gutters and downpipes: 17 W/m – 10 to 20 W/m.
• Roofs: 25 to 33 W/m – 250 W/m².
• Open areas: 25 to 33 W/m – 150 to 300 W/m².
