In cold climate regions, the need to protect installations from snow, ice, and frost is very common.
These installations generally fall into three categories:

  • Roofs, gutters, and downpipes.
  • Outdoor surfaces: sidewalks, parking ramps, stairs, walkways, loading docks, etc.
  • Pipes.

This requirement applies to residential buildings, the tertiary sector (such as restaurants and hotels), and industrial facilities. In all these cases, heating cables have become the go-to solution due to their effectiveness and the simplicity of installation and use.

For frost protection of pipes, an integrated system is available to simplify installation. The heating cable comes with a built-in thermostat and a plug for easy connection. The thermostat automatically activates the cable when the pipe temperature drops below 3°C.
