These are pre-connected radiant heating film sheets that can be placed under or on the walls of a terrarium/vivarium to create ideal thermal conditions for animals that require it (reptiles, rodents, etc.). The long-wave infrared heat they emit is similar to sunlight, recreating natural-like conditions for reptiles that absorb heat from surfaces. The sheets provide gentle warmth, allowing animals to sit either beneath or on top of them.
For most species, these heating sheets are excellent as the sole heat source and have the added advantage of not emitting visible light, making them suitable for animals that need heat during nighttime hours.
They are available in two different widths and various lengths, allowing you to heat most or only part of the terrarium to create a thermal gradient—essential for certain reptiles—and to give breeders the option to heat multiple enclosures with a single sheet.
