Ultratherm Viv Mat Heating Strips:
27 cm wide, with lengths ranging from 14 cm to 119 cm, ideal for heating the entire terrarium (turtles, lizards, and small rodents).
These consist of a pre-connected radiant heating film that is placed beneath the terrarium/vivarium or on the walls to create ideal thermal conditions for the animals that need them (reptiles, rodents, etc.). The long-wave infrared heat emitted is similar to sunlight and recreates conditions similar to the reptiles’ natural environment, as they absorb this heat. The strips provide gentle warmth, allowing the animal to sit underneath or on top of them.
For most species, the heating strips are excellent as the sole heat source and have the advantage of not emitting visible light, making them suitable for animals that need heating during the night.
They are available in two widths and several lengths to heat most of the surface or just part of the terrarium to create a thermal gradient, as required by certain types of reptiles, and to give breeders the option to heat multiple terrariums with a single strip.
